Meet the Founder Behind the Mission

Leadership With Purpose

Serving Youth, Families, and Communities for a Lifetime

Yvonne Pubien is a retired Lauderhill Police Officer, community leader, business owner, wife, and mother of three sons who have continued the family's commitment to public service.

Throughout her law enforcement career, Yvonne worked closely with families, schools, and community organizations throughout Broward County, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges many young people face and the importance of positive mentorship and support.

Driven by a passion for helping children succeed, she founded Creatively You Training Team and later established G.I.F.T. (Guardians Involved for Tomorrow) to ensure that children from all backgrounds—including those facing financial hardship—could access meaningful enrichment opportunities without the burden of cost.

Today, Yvonne continues to build partnerships with organizations, businesses, and community leaders who share her commitment to creating brighter futures for young people.

G.I.F.T. works alongside schools, community organizations, businesses, and local leaders who share our commitment to helping children grow, learn, and succeed.

Our Purpose

Every Child Deserves the Opportunity to Succeed

G.I.F.T. was created with a simple belief: every child deserves access to positive role models, meaningful opportunities, and a supportive community that encourages them to reach their full potential.

We recognize that children thrive when they are surrounded by mentors who believe in them, challenge them, and help them develop the confidence and life skills needed to succeed.

Through mentorship, enrichment activities, leadership development, and community engagement, we help students build a strong foundation for the future.
