About the Program
“Girls Circle of Hope” is a structured support group for girls. Our program aims to counteract social and interpersonal forces that impede girl’s growth and development; by promoting an emotional safe setting structure which girls can develop caring relationships and use authentic voices. We provide workshops and hands on activities to help our girls understand the consequence of engaging in at risk behaviors, substance abuse, low-self esteem and poor decision making.
Our mentors are here to inspire, support, and encourage young girls, as they build up their confidence and pride within themselves. We strive to help them become the individuals God created them to be. All GIFT mentors must pass background screenings and complete training prior to having any contact with youth.

boys can build
About the Program
“Boys Can Build” aims to address masculine definitions and behaviors for boys. We endeavor to build their capacities to find their innate value and rite of passage from boys to men. Boys will learn how to do particle task to help them develop confidence, patience, and trust through team building activities.

Through our current partnership with various organizations boys will lean the basic of carpentry tools, changing locks, changing tires, and building small and large wood items. Group discussions along with hands on attire learning (Ties). All GIFT mentors must pass background screenings and complete training prior to having any contact with youth.
